Appytoy is Irelands first marketplace that entirely focuses on toys, games, and books for children from 0 to 9 years old. The best part of it is that all toys are exchanged for free.

Appytoy adopts the mindset of small children who do not have the concept of value and like all toys equally. We turn trading pre-loved childrens toys into a fun family activity.

How it works:

Getting toys
- Sign up with your Facebook or Google + account. Add your location and a short description to your profile.
- Browse toys available in your neighbourhood and find one you like.
- Request the toy you like and wait for the owner of the toy to approve your request. Have a chat with them to agree on a place to meet and collect your toy.

Giving toys away
- Sign up with your Facebook or Google + account. Add your location and a short description to your profile.
- List as many pre-loved items as you want. Just make sure you add an accurate description of the toy, its condition and that you upload at least one picture of the toy.
- Wait for somebody to request your toy and approve the request. Have a chat with the requester to agree on a place to meet and give your toy away.

User ratings
You can rate your exchange experience once the toy was exchanged. Its very important to rate your experience to build a community of trustful users.

Purchases
As a part of the sharing economy movement, we incentivise our users to give away toys. One toy given away gives you 1 point (Appytoy currency) that will allow you to make a request for somebody elses toy. If you do not have any toys to give away or you run out of points you can buy them from Appytoy. Every new user gets 1 point upon registration and 1 point for the listing of their first toy.
